7 DAYS / 6 NIGHTS
Walking holiday in Croatia with 6 walking tours around the magical Istrian peninsula. Experience Istria with all senses in their truest form and enjoy our walking tour on six different and beautiful walking trails.
From the Adriatic Coast, a lush, green landscape of rolling hills rises to the rugged peaks of the Ucka Mountains – It is Istria. A large peninsula in the north of Croatia, Istria is famous for its fertile landscapes, ancient towns and excellent local food and wine. On this week long walking holiday, discover the Venetian styled village of Motovun with its striking hilltop setting, surrounded by vineyards and truffle forests. Explore Brijuni National Park where ancient pine forests meet with the azure coastal waters and the Ucka Nature Park.
Istria – It’s often called Croatia’s Little Tuscany!
The beautiful coastal part of Istria, with numerous beaches and untouched inland with rich history and with local produce, is one of the reasons why Istria is ideal to escape from everyday life by riding bike. Here people love truffly pasta dishes and have a wine obsession. Istrian trails with the well-known Parenzana roads are even better than Istrian beaches. Running along Istria’s many trails is an ideal way to get an up close and personal view of the magical peninsula of most western part of Croatia.
Hikers on this remarkable tour gain a comprehensive experience of the extraordinary region of Croatian Istria. It’s not just about hiking but also about connecting with locals, discovering charming small towns, meeting local producers, and enjoying cozy traditional taverns. In short, Istria offers incredible diversity—from the lush, natural inland and stone villages to coastal towns with stunning bays, rich fishing traditions, and more. An unforgettable experience!
