Here, you’ll encounter shepherds tending thousands of sheep and goats, discover hidden turquoise coves, and wander through timeless stone towns shaped by centuries of island life. Life on Brač moves at different rhythms—from the peaceful, almost sleepy atmosphere of small villages to the lively buzz of its compact island towns.

The island is also rich in church architecture, with chapels and historic churches scattered across both the coastline and the hinterland, adding depth and cultural character to the landscape. From Makarska, there’s the option to visit Biokovo Nature Park, where a walk to the spectacular skywalk viewpoint offers breathtaking views high above the Adriatic. The journey then continues by bike beneath the mountains, following the coastline toward Baška Voda and Brela, where the essence of traditional Dalmatia truly comes to life.

One of the highlights of the day is a visit to the stunning Blue Lake and Red Lake near Imotski—a true masterpiece of nature, often described as pure geological poetry.

By bike, we then cross the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina, riding through Posušje and Široki Brijeg, gradually approaching the iconic city of Mostar.

This stage is a true cycling adventure, leading us to a city whose name comes from its famous bridge—or more precisely, from the historic guard towers that once protected it.
